Our History

The history of Bonnerup Funeral & Cremation Services dates back to 1922, when Jens Bonnerup, an immigrant from Denmark, married Alma, a native of Albert Lea. Ownership passed throughout generations of Bonnerups and the original business in Albert Lea expanded to include locations in Ellendale and New Richland.
