Terry Roger Vandenheuvel, age 65, passed away on Thursday, June 25. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 10 at Bonnerup Funeral and Cremation Services. A visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.

Terry was born in Albert Lea, MN on May 24, 1961, to Harold and Lynnette (Oakland) Vandenheuvel. He grew up and received his education in Albert Lea. He went to work for Cedar Valley as a paper shredder.

In his free time, Terry enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. He was an avid fan of the three big Minnesota sports; the Twins, Vikings, and Timberwolves and wanted to manage either the Twins or the Vikings. He loved bowling. Terry was very competitive and participated in the Special Olympics, competing in shot put, softball throw, and long jump among other events. He was also a member of ARC and S.P.I.R.E. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family.

Terry is survived by his Mother, Lynnette Hendrickson and Stepfather, Duane Hendrickson of Albert Lea, His Siblings: Wendy and Rick Bohonek of Huntsville, AR, Penny and Jeff Polis of Albert Lea, Tim and Susan Vandenheuvel of Woodbury, MN, Tom and Jill Vandenheuvel of Albert Lea, Jody and Jay Brainerd of Lonsdale MN. Step Siblings: Shelia and Jim Ingham of Austin MN, Jolene and Mike Newman and Russ and Kelly Hendrickson both of Albert Lea; along with many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and his Elm Home 38 family.

He is preceded in death by his Father Harold Vandenheuvel, his paternal grandparents Joseph & Amy Vandenheuvel of Albert Lea, and maternal grandparents Walter and Helen Oakland of Carpenter IA
