Stanley Earl Frondal

August 7, 1928 — October 21, 2023

Albert Lea, MN

Born in Oakland, MN, Stanley Earl Frondal, 95, of Albert Lea, Mn, beloved husband, father, and pillar of
the community, passed away on October 21, 2023, at Mayo Clinic-St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester
surrounded by his family.

Stanley, born August 7, 1928 to Knut and Ella (Hove) Frondal, dedicated his life to hard work and the
farming industry, serving as an Owner/Operator for many years. His strong work ethic and passion for
the land earned him respect from all who knew him. His legacy in the farming community will forever be
remembered.

In September 17, 1955, Stanley exchanged vows with his loving wife, Arlene L. (Sorenson) Frondal at the
Salem Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. Their marriage was a testament to love, commitment, and
enduring partnership. Together, they created a loving home and raised their four children, Debra, Bruce,
Pamela, and Steven.

During his lifetime, Stanley Frondal was an active member of the community. From 1928 to 1979, he
resided in the Oakland area, leaving an indelible mark on the community with his dedication and
generosity. From 1979 to 1986, he and his family embarked on an exciting venture, owning and
operating the beloved Tastee Freeze in Blooming Prairie. The cherished memories and delicious treats
from that time remain etched in the hearts of many.

Outside of work, Stanley found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved playing cards and the
excitement of an occasional visit to Diamond Jo's, where he even had a stroke of good luck on his last
visit. Stanley was an active participant in community activities, engaging in dart ball, cheering on softball,
baseball games, and football. He generously shared his passion for sports by dedicating his time as an
umpire for youth softball leagues and serving as a dedicated 4H leader for many years. One of Stanley's
favorite pastimes was completing puzzles, which showcased his sharp mind and attention to detail.
Stanley also enjoyed going to and selling toys at Farm Toy Shows for 25 years in the Midwest area.

Left to cherish Stanley’s memory are his four children, Debra (Dan) Leimbek, Bruce (Vicky Wiechmann)
Frondal, Pamela (Gary) Warriner, and Steven (Lisa) Frondal; four grandchildren, Zachary (Samantha)
Hoverson, Sarah (Tevin Thornton) Hoverson, Tammy (Aaron Brune) Frondal, and Justin (Kelsey Stepun)
