Scott Kenneth Neumann, age 52, of Waterville, MN, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 at his home with his mom by his side.
Scott was born September 14th, 1970 in Owatonna, MN, the son of Margaret “Margie” (Lambrecht) Neumann Jacobson, of Waterville, MN, and the late Kenneth R. Neumann. He attended school in Owatonna and graduated from Owatonna High School in 1989.
Scott worked mainly in the construction trades. He worked for the Carpenters union in the Twin Cities before working with his dad at New Kenmann Construction. After that he ran his own company, Captain Construction. Later he was employed by Lindsay Window and Door LLC in North Mankato, MN, as the Window Service Technician.
He enjoyed cruising and off roading in his Jeep and mudding with his friends. He loved the outdoors and the lake, where he spent time boating and fishing in the summer and ice fishing in the winter
Scott liked to live life on the edge which took him many places sometimes off-the-grid. At one time he was out in the Hills of South Dakota running a bar and grill. He liked to cook and smoked the meats they served.
Scott had an unusual sense of humor that was sometimes inappropriate but always got people laughing. He always said it like it was and nothing was sugar coated.
In addition to his mother, Margie, he is survived by two daughters, Kristin Neumann, of Fargo, ND, and Nicole Neumann, of Younkers, NY; a brother, Keith “Butch” Neumann; nieces, Tabatha Gutierrez and Ciara Neumann; and great-nieces, Serenity and Olivia.
Scott is preceded in death by his son, William “Billy” Scott Neumann; father, Kenneth R. Neumann; his grandparents, Elmer and Bernice Lambrecht, and Raymond and Dorothea Neumann; his step-father, Robert (Bob) Jacobson; and step-brother, Jon J. Jacobson.
