Scott Arnold

Scott Gerald Arnold, 55, of Albert Lea passed away Friday, July 31, at the Mayo Clinic Hospital of Austin.

He was born to Alice and Wendell "Ross" Arnold on November 5, 1964 in Albert Lea MN.

Scott was raised in Albert Lea in a neighborhood full of amazing friends. Scott attended Vo tech Rochester for computers. Scott always had a passion for anything that had to do with computers, science, politics, and loved a good debate.  In 1991, Scott would meet the love of his life, Michelle Boyer. They would later be married on June 6, 2016 when Scott had a surprise proposal and wedding planned for Michelle in Las Vegas, NV. Scott and Michelle raised one daughter, Alisha Boyer. Alisha would give him his true calling in life Being they very best Grandpa to his 3 grandsons. His memories will live with the family forever. The memories the kids have shared with him ALWAYS making sure they were happy every time they were there. Building them legos and playing games with them. Scott was loved by anyone who knew him and was a standup guy.

Scott did many jobs over the years. Most recently he worked at The American Inn. Wherever he worked he took pride in everything he did. Everyone knew if they had any problems with computers and electronics, Scott was the man to call.

Scott is survived by his wife, Michelle Boyer-Arnold; Daughter, Alisha Boyer; Grandsons, Lukas Miller, Nathan Miller, and Noah Miller; Father and Mother in law, Mike and Lynne Boyer; Sisters and Brothers, Deni (Mike) Garcia, Debi (Mark) Tough, Cheryl (Brad) Williams, and Dave Arnold. Jami (Tim) Johnston, Terri (Jay) Boyer, Luke (Onnah) Boyer. Many Nieces and Nephews, including Jasmine, Zachary, Olivia, Gabe, Anissa, Hayley, Ryan, Jessica, Tristan, Trent, Riley, Maisy, Zayden, Zander, Andrew, and Lilly.Many close friends; including Dylan Monson and Dave Sullivan.

Preceded in death by his parents, Wendell "Ross" Arnold and Alice Arnold.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life on Saturday August 8th from 2-5pm at Pickerel Lake Park in Albert Lea.
