The Memorial Service for Rosalyn “Rosie” Marie Hagen, of New Richland, will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 11 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in

New Richland . Pastor Gerry Giese will officiate. Friends may visit with family from

3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the church on Tuesday. Rosie died at her home on Thursday, May 6. She was 29. She was born on May 21, 1980, in Waseca , Minnesota the daughter of Johnny Hagen and Lesley (Benson) Hagen . She attended Janesville schools where she played volleyball, and later attended New Richland High School .


She married Curt Besser on May 3, 2003.  They were later divorced. She enjoyed fishing, but mostly she loved being
a mom. She will be missed by her children: Star, Tarynn and Dakota, her dad Johnny Hagen of rural New Richland, her mom Lesley and her husband Don Kump of Easton , brothers: Tim Hagen and his wife Jessica and their son Zachary of New Richland, Kyle Kump and Dan Kump both of Easton , two step-sisters: Tammy and her husband Ross Melhopp of Mankato and Deb and her husband Todd of Eagle Lake, grandfathers Leslie Hagen of Missouri and Earl Benson of Faribault , several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Gladys Hagen and Janet Bair.
