Ronald was born March 24, 1944 at Boone , Iowa to Robert and Dorothea (McRae) Elsberry. He attended Forest City High School , Forest City , Iowa . Ronald has lived most of his life in Albert Lea. Ronald worked as a Baker for Lund Foods in Lake Mills , Iowa . He enjoyed Nascar Racing, Green Bay Packers and music.

Ronald is survived by his sister Karen Crouse and her husband Bill of West Des Moines, Iowa; aunt Val McRae of Minneapolis and cousins.
