Public visitation for Randall James Mitchell of Albert Lea, MN, will be held Thursday, May 7, 2016 from 4 until 7 PM at the Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. Randall died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at his home in Albert Lea. He was 61 years of age.
Randall was born August 1, 1954 in Albert Lea, MN, the son of Russell and Ramona (Olsen) Mitchell. He graduated from Albert Lea High School and attended Dakota Technical College. Randall was a resident of Freeborn County most of his life with time spent in New Mexico and Northfield, MN.
Randall owned and operated a construction business in New Mexico for a short period of time and worked for Crown Cork and Seal in Faribault. He also built custom motorcycles and was a service writer in the motorcycle industry.
Randall loved riding and building motorcycles, racing cars and fishing.
He is survived by his children Jade Malek of Northfield, MN, Alex Mitchell of Austin, MN, Randall Gordon of Silver Bay, MN, Joshua Schauub of Phoenix, AZ, and Joshua Perkins of Austin, MN. There are 9 grandchildren and one sister Pam Headsten living in California.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
