Paul Edward Miller, 79, of Albert Lea, passed away peacefully in the evening of Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Paul was born in Austin, MN on January 27, 1947 to Maurice and Dorothy (Brugger) Miller. Paul grew up in Austin, and began working hard to support himself and his loved ones at a young age. Paul would go on to meet JoAnn Sipple, who he married on June 13, 1970 at St. Theodores Church in Albert Lea, MN. The two went on to have two children; Gina and Jerry.
Paul liked to stay busy. He was a natural tinkerer; always doing maintenance tasks around the home, or fixing cars or being a handyman. Paul did everything for his loved ones. He worked hard at his jobs; having worked at Motor Supply, and Endere’s Tool Company for over 15 years.
What Paul will be remembered for is his love and kindness. He was an exceptional husband, and an amazing father. He was incredibly loving. His family and friends were incredibly important to him. He was close to his family’s pets, especially to the cats Butterfinger, and Pumpkins.
Paul is survived by his wife of 55 happy years, JoAnn (Sipple) Miller; his daughter Gina Miller; his grandson Matthew (Sheyanne) Hruza; his brother Louis Miller; his sisters Lilian and Doris; his brother-in-law Gary “Hopps”; his sister-in-law Elaine Sipple; nieces Kelly Sipple and Shelley Klocek; and other extended family members and close friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Dorothy Miller; son Jerry Miller; grandsons William Hruza and Josh Hruza; and siblings Stan Miller and Ruth.
The family of Paul would like to send a special thank you to the team at Mayo hospice for their care and assistance during the end of Paul’s life.
Paul’s family will hold a private gathering for friends and family at a later date.
May Paul’s soul be at peace, ‘till his family is together once again.
