. He was 95 years young.
Melvin was born January 16, 1914 in Walters, MN, the son of Henry and Minnie Rupp.
Melvin moved to
Albert Lea
in 1940, got a job at Wilson & Co. in the stock yards. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and grand kids. He also was an active member of
Salem
Lutheran
Church
. Melvin is survived by his son, Gary Rupp, and his daughter, Diane Kaiser, of Albert Lea. One brother, Harold Rupp, of
Albert Lea
and one sister, Evelyn Anderson, of
Geneva
. Melvin has six grandkids all reside in the state of
Minnesota
and a host of great grand children.
