Remembering the life of Lucille O'Daffer.



The Funeral service for Lucille O'Daffer of Albert Lea, will be held at

10:30 A.M. on Monday, September 20, 2004 at the Salem Lutheran Church,

Albert Lea. The Reverend Jay Dahlvang will officiate. Interment will be

in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-7 Sunday at Bonnerup

Funeral Service, Albert Lea, and one hour before the service at

the church.



Lucille died on Thursday, September 16, 2004 at the Albert Lea Medical Center.

She was 92.



She was born in Ray, Colorado, on April 4, 1912, the daughter of William

and Taletta (Anton) Niehaus. The family moved to Kansas and later

to Albert Lea.

On August 19, 1945, she married Wayne "Bill" O'Daffer at the First

Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.

She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed collecting recipes and listen to radio programs and talk shows.

Lucille is survived by two children: Rilla Sanchez-Rivera of Albert Lea,

Lynn O"Daffer and special friend Ramona Richter of Albert Lea;

five grandchildren: Gretchen and her husband John Phillips of Wisconsin,

Kimberly and her husband Jimmy Erickson of Iowa, Gaylan Wachlin and

his wife Amy of Alden, MN., Annette and her husband Christian Hansen of

Albert Lea, Brian O"Daffer and his wife Charlene of Owatonna; 12 great

grandchildren; brother Karl Niehaus of Minneapolis, MN., sister-in-law

Irene Niehaus of St. Cloud, MN. and nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William "Bill"

O"Daffer, great grandsons Steven Nielsen, Christian Hansen;

brothers and sisters Calvin Niehaus, Lily Nelson and Opal Rafdal.
