He was born March 31, 1946 to Olaf and Wilma (Reyerson) Kvam in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Lee was baptized on May 5, 1946 and confirmed June 18, 1961 at the Silver Lake Lutheran Church of Northwood.

Lee graduated with the class of 1965 from Northwood Kensett High School, and after school enlisted with the United State Navy where he was stationed in Pearl Harbor.

After serving in the Navy, Lee returned home to the family farm and eventually bought the land from Leonard and Alice Reyerson. Lee was a proud member of the American Legion, hardworking farmer and a dedicated church member his entire life from Emmons Lutheran to most recently at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.

He enjoyed fishing up north with his sons, camping, dancing and going on cruises with Darlene. Lee loved all his pets on the farm, riding his Goldwing and finding any opportunity for a good prank.

His smile, twinkle of the eye and dedication to others will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Darlene; sons, Jason (Lisa) Kvam of Burnsville and Brian (Denise) Kvam of Northwood, IA with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
