Kendra Schaub

Kendra Sue Schaub was born on May 26, 1953, in Freeborn County, the daughter of Frederic L. and Dorothy B. (Hill) Schaub. She graduated from Glenville High School. Kendra obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in sociology and corrections and began her career in chemical dependency counseling. Above all Kendra loved being grandmother, and she was a fantastic one. Her children and grandchildren brought her much pride and joy. Kendra lost her short battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 9. She passed away at Thorne Crest Senior Living Community in Albert Lea at the age of 65. She is survived by her daughters: Tanja (Mike) Noer of Council Grove, KS, Shanna Eckberg (fiancée Jason Shields) of Eden Prairie, MN, grandchildren Kayla, Kale and Cora Noer all of Kansas, Adrianna, Brianna and Dominic Eckberg all of Eden Prairie, MN; brothers: Marc (Susan) Schaub, Cameron (Lisa) Schaub, and Corey Schaub and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Frederic and Dorothy Schaub and her niece Ashley Schaub. Friends may visit and share memories with family from 3:30 P.M.-4:30 P.M. on Saturday, April 20 at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea.
