James Vasquez Espinosa Sr.

James Vasquez Espinosa Sr passed Wednesday, May 22 2024 in Albert Lea Minnesota. He was 64 years old. James was born June 28th 1959 in Winnebago Minnesota to Armando and Cruz (Vasquez) Espinosa.

 James attended Madelia Public Schools and Graduated from Mankato college as a chef. James lived all over the country choosing Albert Lea to call home. He married Helen Peterson on October 31, 1974. They had 2 sons from their union but later separated.
 James remarried Alfredia Rose on February 14, 2005.

 James owned and operated his own Landscaping business for 20+ years making many friends and associates along the way. James enjoyed drawing and painting. As well as all forms of handy work. He also enjoyed gardening, watching the Minnesota Vikings and spending time with his family and friends.

 James is survived by his children and grandchildren, James Espinosa Jr, Charles Dennard (Clarissa Rivera, Ryan, Haley, Mikale, Callan, Aivin, Zeanna) Jesse Espinosa (Kylee, Kaley, Kristina, Kayden, Kaleb, Alex) Andrew Hernandez, Tyler Espinosa, Capri Espinosa, Brook (Colby) Saunders.
 As well as his siblings, Anita (Jose) Aguilar, J. R. (Deb) Espinosa, Mary Hove, Jane (Rick) Weaver, John (Sandy) Espinosa, Joseph (Greg) Espinosa , Fran (John) Bliss ,Frank Espinosa, Mike Espinosa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

James was preceded in death by his parents Armando and Cruz, Two brothers in infancy John and Manuel Espinosa, sister Christina Garcia and the love of his life Alfredia Rose.

 In the days, months, and years ahead, we will celebrate your life, share stories of your love and laughter, and honor your memory. You will always be in our hearts, minds, and memories.
 
 In lieu of a traditional service James' family will host a celebration of life July 20th from 2pm-4pm at Pioneer Park in Albert Lea, Minnesota.
