Albert

Harry Allen Perschbacher, 84, of Albert Lea, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at his home.

Born on January 29, 1938, in Albert Lea, he was a son of Russel and Elsie (Schmidt) Perschbacher.  A graduate of Alden-Conger High School, Harry proudly served in the United States military. Dedicated and hardworking, he was employed at Scotsman Ice Machines and Carroll George, Inc. for many years.

Throughout his careers, he received awards and commendations for never missing a day’s work. An avid outdoorsman, Harry enjoyed hunting, fishing for bullheads with his grandchildren, and gardening.  With a full and lush garden, Labor Day weekend was reserved for making grape jelly and juice from his home-grown grapes. The variety of fruits and vegetables he grew were canned and enjoyed by his family. Harry enjoyed traveling with family, and word puzzles in his down time.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Russell (Peggy) Perschbacher, Scott (Jeanna) Perschbacher, Michelle (Jim) Yost, Randy Perschbacher and Rick Perschbacher; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and brother, Lester Perschbacher.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois (Dailey) Perschbacher; wife of 39 years, Doris Perschbacher; son, Ronald Perschbacher; and granddaughter, Jessica Monson.

A graveside service is planned for Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Concordia Lutheran Cemetery of Pickerel Lake.
