Gary Leroy Miller

Gary Leroy Miller, age 85, of St. Olaf Lake, New Richland, Minnesota, passed away on October 25, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

He was born on November 9, 1940, at the family home in Van Meter, Iowa. He married Darlene See on August 26, 1972.

Gary worked for many years as a drywaller and framer. He was quite the handyman and could fix and repair just about anything. He was always willing to help people, and was a friend to everyone.

He loved golf, bowling, and playing pool, and he loved the outdoors- water skiing, boating, scuba diving, and living on the lake.

Gary is survived by his wife, Darlene (See) Miller; daughter, Chris Keller; his son, Brian (Dawn) Miller; his brother Albert (Carole) Miller; his grandchildren, Duston Keller, Dylon Keller, Nicole (Travis) Denin, Talor Miller, Brooklin (Justin) Jansen; and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Mary (Smith) Miller; and his siblings; Shirley Sahuaqui, Rose Scalise, Virginia Vargovich, David Miller, Arthur Miller, Sam Miller, and Frank Sly.

Cremation memorial service will be held on November 14, 2026, 2:00pm at LeSueur River Lutheran Church. With visitation starting at 1:00pm.
