David Anderson

David R. Anderson, born October 12, 1950, passed away November 1, 2025, in Albert Lea, Minnesota at the age of 75. Born and raised in Albert Lea, David remained in the community throughout his life and contributed countless hours of his time to support local clubs and coach hockey. David also worked for Cedar Valley Services and Wilson's for many years. On April 11, 1970, he married his loving wife Peggy, and the two raised their daughter Kari and son Chad.

In his younger years, David enjoyed riding motorcycles, and throughout his life he could often be found watching stock car races, hunting, fishing, and competitively shooting trap. He was also a member of the Clarks Grove Gun Club and was the President of the Eagles Club for a time.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Carol Anderson, and his brother, Scott Anderson.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Peggy; daughter Kari (Randy) Buscovick; son Chad Anderson; Grandchildren Brooke (Ty) Lerum, Luke (Ashley) Matson, and Bryce Anderson; great-grandchildren Abel and Iva Lerum; and sister Deborah (Peter) Deem.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday February 7th, 2026 at Bonnerup Funeral and Cremation Service in Albert Lea.
