Craig Jensen

Craig Lyle Jensen passed away at his home in Geneva, Minnesota on April 30, 2025. A memorial service in Craig's honor will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 8th, 2025 at Clayton Cemetery on 65th Street in Bricelyn, Minnesota.

Born January 26, 1946, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, Craig was raised in Geneva alongside his brother and sister. After graduating from New Richland High School, Craig attended college in Mankato. He spent many years working for Winnebago Industries as a delivery driver, allowing him to travel around the country, and giving him a taste for adventure and an admiration for the outdoors. This adventurous spirit led him to achieve his goal of visiting all 50 states!

Not only did Craig have a fulfilling career, but he also embraced the joyful moments in life. He would often enjoy these moments casting a line out at the lake, playing a round of golf, or cheering on his favorite sports teams, especially the Minnesota Vikings. Craig had a sharp sense of humor that could cut through even the roughest days, always getting a laugh out of those around him. He found a great use for his humor and friendliness as a Walmart greeter and to embody the spirit of Santa Claus during the holiday season.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Carnes and Inez; and infant brother Charles.

Left to cherish Craig's memory are his brother, Brian Jensen; sister Margo (Milton) Wayne; nieces Shannon Coon and Tiffany Wayne; and his nephew Travis Wayne.

Craig would want us to remember him not with tears of sorrow, but with laughter and celebration of a life well-lived, filled with adventure, joy, and unwavering love for those around him. He will be missed dearly, but his spirit will always remain in our hearts.
