Beverly Peterson

Beverly Jean Peterson, 82, of Glenville, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the Good Samaritan Society in Albert Lea.

Born on November 19, 1943, in Northwood, IA, Beverly was the daughter of Ernest and Iola (Follmuth) Johnson. She was raised on the family farm south of Glenville and attended country school District 128 before graduating from Glenville High School in 1961. Throughout her life, Beverly held many different jobs, but the work she cherished most was her many years of service at Good Samaritan in Albert Lea, where she faithfully worked until her retirement in 2005.

Beverly is survived by her children, Troy and Monte Peterson; sister, ElNora Stumo; brother, Walter (Rebecca) Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ernest and Iola, Beverly was preceded in death by her daughter Danielle Peterson; grandson, Aden; brother, Lyle Johnson, and sister-in-law, Joanne Hanson, brother-in-law, Nelson Stumo; nephew, Rodney (Rocky) Stumo; and many good friends.
