Beverly Espe

Memorial services for Beverly F. Espe of Albert Lea , MN , will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel. Pastor George Marin will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

Beverly died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at St Mary’s Hospital in Rochester , MN . She was 72 years of age.

Beverly was born on May 12, 1937 in Stewartville , MN , the daughter of Cecil and Ione (Smith) Brown. She attended public school in Stewartville , MN .

On February 12, 1977 she was united in marriage to Merlin Espe in Byron , MN . Together they moved to Albert Lea where they have lived ever since.

Beverly had been employed for a short time as a home health aide in Mower and Freeborn Counties .

Beverly was a very kind and caring person and enjoyed word search books and playing cards.

She is survived by her husband Merlin of Albert Lea, MN, daughter Kim Raben of Rochester , MN , and granddaughter Amy Toot. One brother survives; Darrell (Marilynn) Brown of Viola, MN, and sister in law; Trena (Marvin) Espe of Albert Lea, MN. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and cousins.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, brother Leonard and grandmother Effie (William) Brown.
