Alice Joan Jacobson

Alice Joan Jacobson passed away on February 10, 2026, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on February 15, 1952, in Estherville, Iowa, to Louis and Anna Kimmet.

Alice devoted her life to her family and her beloved pets. Before her illness, she enjoyed playing cards at the senior center and volunteering with various service clubs. Her warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Rodney; and daughter, Jessie Rae.

She is survived by her son, Lee; daughter‑in‑law, Mao; and grandchildren, Benjamin and Teia.
She is also survived by her stepdaughters:

• Denise Jacobson‑Schlarbaum (David) and her children, Sandy Alexander (Zach) and Ellen Hernandez (Jared)

• Heather Jacobson (Mark Mulholland)

Alice is further survived by her brother, Tom Kimmet (Carol); and close family friends, Dean and Mary Poole.

Visitation will be held at Bonnerup Funeral & Cremation Services on March 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery.
