Margaret died Tuesday morning at St Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN, surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was born January 18, 1958 in Albert Lea, MN, the daughter of Thomas and Ruth (Siglowski) Parry. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1976 and then from Riverland Community College with an associate degree in Human Resources. She had previously been employed by the Albert Lea School District as a para educator, she loved working with children. Margaret was a very active member of the Albert Lea Assembly of God church with the women’s ministries and Ruby’s Pantry. She loved serving and her church family held a special place in her heart. Margie enjoyed sewing, crafts and cooking, her Land-O-Lakes card club, coffee dates with the girls, and loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was also a fierce competitor whether it be cards, bags, or Wii bowling and often took home the trophy at family holiday gatherings. Marge had a double lung transplant 18 years ago and we praise God for this extra time we’ve had with her. She had a zest for life and a love for everyone. Marge got her healing in heaven and is now running marathons with her new lungs. She is survived by her children Jamie (Jake) Johnston of Prior Lake, MN, Jordan (Krista) Doyle of Albert Lea, MN, Taylor Doyle (Julio) of Albert Lea, MN, grandchildren Jack and Leo Johnston and Preslie and Ava Doyle. Other survivors include; sisters Kathleen Mielke of Eagle Lake, MN, Connie Parry of Albert Lea, MN, brothers James (Faye) Parry of Tucson, AZ, Terry Parry of Owatonna, MN, sister-in-law Brenda Parry of Albert Lea, MN, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who loved her very much.
