Winnie Yocom, 101 of Rochester, MN, formerly of Albert Lea, died in at Samaritan Bethany Heights
Care Center in Rochester, MN on Thursday, November 4, 2010. Winnie had moved to Rochester 5 years ago to be near her grandson Larry Yocom and his wife Jan.
She was born on February 1, 1909 in Canby, Minnesota the oldest of the 13 children of Jefferson and Maddie Riley. She married George Yocom in 1926. They raised two sons Ernest and Richard in the
Albert Lea area. Son Richard survives. She also has 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren,
5 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George and her son Ernest. Private graveside services will be held at Graceland Cemetery as well as Memorial Services in Hudson, Wisconsin at a later date.
