The funeral service for Shawn J. Williams of Albert Lea, MN will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 12, 2005 at St. John?s Lutheran Home Chapel, Albert Lea. Pastor Jeff Laeger-Hagemeister will officiate. Interment will be in the Hollandale Cemetery, Hollandale, MN. Visitation will be from 6:00 ? 8:00 PM Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service and one hour before service at the church. Military Honors accorded by Albert Lea Veteran?s Organizations.
Shawn died on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at the St. Mary?s Hospital in Rochester, MN.
He was 56 years old.
Shawn was born in Owatonna, MN on February 10, 1949, the son of Zenobia (Thostenson) Williams. He graduated from New Richland High School. Shawn has lived around the Albert Lea area most of his life. He worked as a clerk at the Farmland Co. Shawn was married to Lois Walton on April 20, 2004 at St. John?s Chapel.
Shawn enjoyed working on cars, skeet shooting, spending time outdoors and taking walks.
Shawn is survived by his wife, Lois of Albert Lea, MN; son: Jason Williams of Cohasset, MN ; sisters: Meridee Dunkirk and husband, Dennis of Lake Havasu, AZ, Wanda Wood of Tampa, FL, Maxine Wacek and husband, Kenneth of Laingsburg, MI; 3 grandchildren: Tanya, Taylor and Haven; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
Shawn was preceded in death by his mother; daughter, Dawn Tuttle; brother, Lee Williams.
