Raymond Parmenter

Raymond died Friday, August 1, 2003 at the Albert Lea Medical Center. He was 59 years old.



Raymond was born August 21, 1943 in Austin, Minnesota to John and Esther (Beaver) Parmenter. He grew up at Lyle, Minnesota and attended Lyle High School. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam conflict fromm 1967 - 1969. After the service he moved to Albert Lea and worked at Land-O-Lakes and then later worked for himself, doing various jobs. Rayond enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, collecting Moose figurines, and sitting around the camp fire. He was a member of the CB Breakers. His family was very important to him, especially his grandchildren. Raymond was the kindest and most gentle person one could know.



Raymond is survived by his wife Julie Parmenter of Albert Lea, Minnesota; four daughters: Melissa Parmenter of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Teresa Blanchard and her husband Dwight of Rochester, Minnesota, Kaylee Parmenter of Albert Lea, Minnesota and Pauline Parmenter Camerer of Albert Lea, Minnesota; two grandsons: Christopher and Carter Ray Blanchard; three brothers: Robert and Donna Parmenter of Canfield, Ohio, John and Barb Parmenter of Austin, Minnesota, and Randy Parmenter of Albert Lea, Minnesota; three sisters: Ruth George of Champlin, Minnesota, Sarah "Sue" Camerer of Albert Lea, Minnesota and Vickie and Larry Underhill of Austin, Minnesota; father and mother-in-law: Walter and Alvina Lenze Sr. of Albert Lea, Minnesota; many nieces, nephews, and cousins and in-laws.



Raymond is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Bruce, Dwain, Dennis, and Dave Parmenter; two sisters: Rachel Felsheim and Sharon Parmenter; brother-in-law: Vern George
