Larry Stephenson

Memorial services for Larry L. "Butch" Stephenson will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at First Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. The Reverend John Holt will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Larry passed away on Wednesday May 20, 2015 at his home. He was 85 years old.
Larry L. Stephenson was born on September 25, 1929 to Ole and Kitty (Stevens) Stephenson. Larry was mentally disabled from birth. That did not stop him from living life to the fullest of his capability. Larry loved to be outside, where he would whistle and twirl his cane. Larry was always dressed very sharply, and had quite a collection of hats. He liked to laugh, strum his guitar, and collect playing cards and photos.
Larry is survived by his loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; Ole and Kitty Stephenson.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to REM Woodvale as well as Mayo Clinic Home Health and Hospice for their exceptional care that was given to him. Everyone quickly became family to him.
