The memorial service for John "Jack" Milton Ebeling will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, February 12, 2005 at Bonnerup Funeral Chapel, Albert Lea, MN. The Reverend Kent Otterman will officiate. Following the service lunch will be served at Green Lea Golf Course.
John died on Friday, February 4, 2005 at Thorne Crest Retirement Center, Health Care Wing, Albert Lea, MN. He was 82 years old.
John was born in Owatonna, MN on December 21, 1922, the son of John W. and Clara (Sodabier) Ebeling. He was a graduate of Owatonna High School.
During his life John had lived in Owatonna, MN, Albert Lea, MN, Escondido, CA, and Avon Park, FL. While in Albert Lea he owned and operated Country Kitchen Restaurant from 1965-75. His passion was golfing and he had been a member of the Albert Lea Club. Owatonna Country Club, and Pine Crest Golf Club in Avon Park, FL
John is survived by two children: Zandy (Bob) Lehmann of Shokopee, MN, and John Jay Ebeling of New Richmond, MN; one grandson, Christopher Lehmann of Shokopee, MN; two step daughters: Lora (Randy) Low of Albert Lea, MN and Dawn Hillman of Albert Lea, MN; one step granddaughter, Danielle Hillman of Rochester, MN; one step great grandson, Daniel Hillman of Albert Lea, MN; one brother, Marvin ?Bud? (Dee) Ebeling of Pratt, MN; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Crystal; one brother, Lyle.
