Ingeborg M. Bye Obituary…..







The funeral services for Ingeborg M. Bye of Albert Lea , MN will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Grace Lutheran Church , Albert Lea. Pastor Todd Walsh will officiate. Interment will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery , Scarville , IA.



Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea , MN and one hour before service at the church.





Ingeborg (Toots) died Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Center, Albert Lea. She was 9 days short of her 92 nd birthday.





Ingeborg was born September 5, 1916 at Scarville , IA , the daughter of Christ and Ingri (Folken) Larson. She was baptized October 1, 1916 and confirmed May 18, 1930 at Immanuel Lutheran Church , Scarville , IA. She graduated from Scarville High School as Valedictorian. She married Melbourne Bye on November 2, 1940 at Scarville , IA.





She was a housewife and in later years a bookkeeper at Bonnerup Funeral Service. She was a longtime active member of Grace Lutheran Church and dearly loved her circle.





Ingeborg is survived by her son Lowell and his wife Mary of Chaska , MN ; daughters: Lois Ann Moses of Fridley , MN and Rebecca and son-in-law Jeffrey Thompson of Burnsville , MN.



Her grandchildren were her pride and joy: Lisa Ann (Terry) Scherber, Peter (Kristine) Bye, Elizabeth (Jaromir) Rehak , Matthew Moses, Christopher (Carla) Riemer, Andrew Thompson, Marie (Alex Moros) Thompson; great grandchildren, Sarah, Jake & Marin Scherber, Anna & Jaromir Rehak, Nora Bye, Julian Riemer; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Stowe of Omaha, NE, Beverly Larson of Buffalo Center, IA, Zella Prafke of Kiester, MN; many dear nieces and nephews.





Ingeborg in preceded in death by her parents, husband, Melbourne; brothers, Wilhelm Larson, Luther Larson, Irving Larson, Albert Larson; sisters: Thea Larson, Lucille Larson; brothers-in-law: Orlando Bye, John Larson, Jerome Peterson, Douglas Stowe and Lawrence Costigan; sisters-in-law: Bernice Peterson, Marjorie Costigan, Katherine Larson and Frieda Larson.





Ingeborg will always be remembered by her loving smile and will be missed by her family and friends.
