Harriet Sola

July 18, 1921 — March 3, 2015

Memorial services for Harriet A. Sola of Bellevue, WA, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea, MN. Pastor Jon Holt of First Lutheran Church will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 until 7 PM and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will be in the Deer Creek Lutheran Cemetery.
Harriet died Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Overlake Hospital in Belleview, WA. She was 93 years of age.
Harriet was born July 18, 1921 in Sand Creek, WI, the daughter of Henry and Amanda (Anderson) Hendrickson. She graduated from Chetek High School in Wisconsin and received her nurses training at Franklin Hospital School of Nursing. On October 31, 1959 she was united in marriage to Iner Clinton Sola.
Harriet had been employed for 13 years as a nurse at St Olaf Hospital in Austin, MN, and then at the Naeve Hospital East Clinic in Albert Lea for 16 years. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea since 1959 where she taught Sunday school, served on the social Ministry Commission and was a quilter. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and NARF. She loved spending time with her family
Harriet is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Carolee Sola Rame and Scott Rame of Sammamish, WA, Judee Sola Henry and Paul Henry of Edmonds, WA, granddaughters Janae Rame, Melissa Rame and Jessica Rame, sister Betty (Glenn) Olson of Rochester, MN, sister-in-law Sandy Sola of Glenville, MN and many nephews and nieces
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Iner, sister Corrine Turner, twin sister Helen Hendrickson, brother Harvey (Mildred) Hendrickson, brothers-in-law Harry Kisilewski, Cliff Turner, Paul Sola, sisters-in-law Marjorie Neiman and Carolyn Sola.
Memorials will be directed to St John's Lutheran Home, 901 Luther Place, Albert Lea, MN 56007). The family wants to give special thanks to the loving and supporting caregivers of the elderly. God's Peace to all.
