Dorothy Krueger

Funeral services for Dorothy will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Concordia Lutheran Church of Pickerel Lake. Reverend Anjanette Bandel will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery of Pickerel Lake. Bonnerup Funeral Service is assisting with arrangements. Dorothy (Dahlen) Krueger was born February 3, 1927 in Albert Lea, MN. She was adopted by John and Inga Dahlen and attended Albert Lea schools. It was on a blind date that she met her future husband, Loren Krueger. They were married Dec. 16, 1945. To this union were born four children. They lived in Albert Lea for 17 years and then moved to Rochester, MN. Over the years, she and Loren did extensive traveling all over the world. She went to be with her Lord and Savior at Pine Haven Care Center, Pine Island, MN, with her husband of 71 years at her side on December 23, 2016. She was 89 years old. She is survived by Loren and their children Steve Krueger El Paso, TX, Dennis (Carol) Krueger, Pine Island MN, Susan (Terry) Sutton The Villages, FL, Mark Krueger, Rochester MN; grandchildren: Steve Krueger II, Dustin Krueger, David Krueger, Kurt Krueger, Kelly Krueger, Jo Marie(Adam) Heidfeld, and Aaron Ludwig.
