Memorial services for Doreen B. Jensen of

, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 1, 2009 at the
First
Lutheran
Church
in Ellendale. Pastor Arne Halbakken will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
Doreen died Thursday evening at her home in Ellendale. She was 72 years of age.
Doreen was born October 3, 1936 in Blooming Prairie, MN, the daughter of Sanford and
Florence
(Johnson) Severtson. She graduated from
Blooming
Prairie
High School
. On February 3, 1955 she was united in marriage to Wyman E. Jensen in Blooming Prairie, MN.
Doreen was a member of the
First
Lutheran
Church
in Ellendale and had been active in
Church Circle
. She was self employed for many years hanging wallpaper and painting. She enjoyed spending her free time dancing, playing golf and playing cards.
Doreen is survived by her children Terri (Steven) Engel of
Ellendale

MN
, Bruce (Cindy) Jensen of Ellendale, MN, Craig Jensen of New Richland, MN, Gordon (Pam) Jensen of Chanhassen, MN. Grandchildren include; Kristina, Brody, Maddy, Hilary, Morgan, Matt, Maggie and Joe. Also surviving are sisters; Delores Catel of
Lake Havesu City

, and Deanne Thorson of
Andover
,
MN
.
Doreen was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Jerome Severtson.
