Remembering the life of Dora Lund....
The Funeral Service for Dora Lund of New Richland will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 8, 2005 at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Richland, MN.
The Reverend Paul Andree will officiate. Interment will be in St. Olaf Cemetery, New Richland. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M - 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at
Friedrich Funeral Home, New Richland, and one hour before the service at the church.
Dora died on Monday, September 5, 2005 at the New Richland Care Center. She was 98.
She was born on November 5, 1906, in Lemond, MN., the daughter of Ella And John (Peterson) Edwardson.
She married Albert Palm on March 25, 1925, in Lemond, MN. Albert died in 1936.
On August 31, 1938, she married Arthur R. Lund in Northwood, IA. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Dora had lived in the New Richland area most of her life. She was very devoted to
her family and shared her love and time so freely. Her children,
grandchildren, and great grandchildren were precious gifts to her.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, baking- especially pies and making a warm and comfortable place for those she loved.
Dora is survived by her daughters: Darlene Abraham of New Richland, Natalie (Norman) Johnson of Lakeville, MN., Judy (Jeff) Mason of Cresco, IA., daughter-in-law Betty (Roger) Palm of Chaska, Grandchildren: Steve Palm of Chaska, MN, Julie (Scott) Schiesser of Rochester, Nancy (Jerry) Shanks of Rosemount, MN, Dennis (Meg) Abraham of Inver Grove Heights, MN, Dawn (Jon) Erickson of Woodbury, MN., Jay Johnson, Jill (Scott) Olson of Lakeville, MN, Amy (Todd) Fadden of Maple Grove, MN, Jeff (Michelle) Mason of Monticello, MN; 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Ella Edwardson, husbands
Albert Palm and Art Lund, son Roger Palm, son-in-law Clarence Abraham, great
grandchildren Caitlin and Connor Abraham, brothers Ray (Lorraine) Edwardson,
Harold (Helen) Edwardson.
