Funeral services for Dennis Milo McGuire of New Richland, MN, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 10, 2004 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in New Richland. Pastor Paul Andree will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12 until 2 at the Church on Sunday. Interment will be in the St Olaf Cemetery, New Richland.
Dennis died on Thursday, October 7, 2004 at his home in New Richland. He was 57 years of age.
Dennis was born on December 5, 1946 in Albert Lea, MN, the son of Murrel and Marjorie (Simonson) McGuire. He attended New Richland Public Schools.
He was united in marriage to Ranae Kapaun on April 24, 1971 in Morristown, MN.
Dennis had been employed by Herters in New Richland, Land-O-Lakes, Farmstead and Fabricated Wood Products. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in New Richland.
Dennis enjoyed collecting old model cars, deer hunting, tinkering with cars and helping other people.
He is survived by his wife Ranae McGuire of New Richland, MN, children Amy and Chad McGuire both of New Richland, MN. Mother Marjorie McGuire of New Richland, MN, sisters Merlys and her husband Wayne Wenzel of New Richland, MN, Joyce Swenson of New Richland, MN, Brenda and her husband Gordon Ebnet of New Richland, MN. Brothers Jerald and his wife Jean McGuire of Elgin, MN, and Duane McGuire of New Richland, MN. Brothers in law Randy and his wife Susan Kapaun of Albert Lea, MN, and Derek Kapaun of Easton, MN. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father Murrel.
