Catherine Hamor

The funeral service for Catherine Margaret Thompson Hamor of Ellendale, MN will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 17, 2003, at First Lutheran Church, Ellendale, MN. Pastor Arne Halbakken will officiate. Interment will be in the First Lutheran Cemetery, Ellendale, MN. Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. Thursday at the Bonnerup Funeral Service, Ellendale and one hour before at the church.



Catherine Margaret Thompson Hamor was born on July 1, 1963 in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of Jerry and Virginia (Kinderman) Thompson. Her family then moved to Minneapolis, MN, where she attended grade school before moving to Ellendale in 1978. She graduated from Ellendale High School in 1981. Because of heart problems her activities were limited. Her grandpa James bought her a horse ?Sham? which she enjoyed riding very much.



On September 28, 1985, she was united in marriage to Kevin Hamor at First Lutheran Church in Ellendale, MN.



Her love of animals inspired her to open her own cat breeding business, Purr-Loom Catery. Her cats won many awards at professional shows.

Her lifelong hobby was caring for all types of animals. She was an avid

reader, she loved music and movies and had a great sense of humor.



Cathy passed away peacefully at her home in Ellendale on October 14, 2003. She was 40 years old.



Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Kevin; parents: Jerry & Ginger Thompson; 3 sisters: Christine (Tom) Krause, Carrie Thompson and her son Gabriel Thompson, Carlie (Joseph) Sevcik; Brothers-in-law: LuVerne and James Hamor; sister-in-law: Carolyn (Marlin) Anderson; grandparents: James and Mardelyn Thompson; Uncle John and Aunt Jan Kinderman; 3 cousins: David and Scott Kinderman, Barb (Tony) LaMotte; many relatives and friends and many wonderful pets.



She is preceded in death by her Grandparents: Karl and Catherine Kinderman; Great Grandparents: Hannah Mae and John J. McGue, August and Emma Kinderman, Clarence and Agnes Thompson, Henry and Clara Thompson.
