The Funeral Service for Barbara C. Dacquel, of Albert Lea will be held
at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, October 10, 2005, at Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel, Albert Lea. The Reverend Jerald Loper will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour
before the service at the funeral home.
Barbara died on Thursday, October 6, 2005 at the Albert Lea Medical Center. She was 74.
She was born on March 9, 1931, in Albert Lea, the daughter of
Albert and Violet (Knudson) Hansen.
She graduated from Albert Lea High School.
Barbara was united in marriage to Vincent Dacquel in 1955 in Iowa.
She was a secretary at Freeborn County Human Services for many years.
Barbara was very quiet and reserved and her favorite times were those
spent with family.
Barbara had a great passion for animals and was very active in the Humane
Society. She also enjoyed collecting dolls and figurines.
She is survived by two sons: Steven Dacquel of Albert Lea, and Randy
Dacquel and his wife Cathy and their sons Alex (14), Cody (11), and Max (8).
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband in 1973.
