A memorial gathering for Anthony ?Tony? John Bower will be held from

2-5 PM Sunday, November 25, 2007 at 301 Lee Circle, Albert Lea, MN.





Tony died on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at his home in Albert Lea.

He was 63 years of age.



Tony was born October 11, 1944 in Sunderland, England, the son of

Douglas and Nance ( Dickson) Bower. He graduated from Durham Public School in

Durham, England. He lived in New Castle UponTyne, England until moving to the United States. He was married to Carole Caliguri on July 27, 1968 in

Detroit, Michigan. Together they moved to Albert Lea, MN, in 1975.



Tony enjoyed golfing, hunting, and was an avid biker having ridden in RAGBRAI this past summer. He also was a pilot and enjoyed flying.



Tony is survived by his wife, Carole Bower of Albert Lea, MN; mother Nance

Bower of England, children: Paul (Jessie Saul) Bower of Faribault, MN, John (Mollie Schumann) Bower of Lakeville, MN; grandchildren: Karlie, Brady and Elizabeth Ellen; sister Jill (Pete) Armitage of Bishop Stortford, England.



Tony was preceded in death by his father, Douglas John Bower.
