Funeral service for Anastacio Rodriguez Nunez will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday , November 26, 2005 at St. Theodore Catholic Church, Albert Lea, MN. The Reverend Jim Burning will officiate. Burial will be in St. Theodore Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Bonnerup Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Anastacio died on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at Albert Lea Medical Center. He was 60 years old.
Anastacio was born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, on January 22, 1945, the son of Jose Flores and Elena (Rodriguez) Nunez.
Anastacio was raised in Plainview, Texas and for the past 10 years has lived in Albert Lea. He was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church were he loved going to the 8:00 AM Mass. He worked for Cedar Valley Services. He enjoyed watching TV, Mexican movies, listening to Mexican music, and walking.
Anastacio is survived by four brothers: Juan (Esther) Nunez, Roberto (Linda) Nunez, Ricardo (Ramona) Nunez all of Austin, TX, Roy Nunez of Albert Lea, MN; two sisters: Manuela Martinez and Maria Enriquez of Albert Lea, MN; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: Alvaro, Joaquin, Eleazar, Jose, Jose Luis; one sister, Alicia; brother-in-law, Aristeo Martinez.
